Safety Online & Haters

I wanted to do a quick post on this really randomly - I think its a really important subject. I think especially if you are under 18 and putting yourself out there on the web you NEED to be careful and not reveal personal information about yourself.

There are so many lovely people online but there are also a lot of creepy horrible people so please be careful.

I know this is complete basic but even if you have seen a picture of the person this can be fake. It is different meeting up with bloggers in PUBLIC places, when you have seen numerous pictures and videos of them, but you should always still be careful!

Also some 'anonymous' Formspringer seems very angry at the fact that when I first started YouTubing I would not reveal where I lived or my Date of Birth. Now at the time I was under 18 and my Dad would only let me online if I stuck to those rules - which is my opinion is completely fair and sensible. Especially since my name is so rare - I'm not exactly hard to find.

I told people I was 18/19 when I was 16/17ish. [Cant remember exactly] Now I'm older and much more confident online I'm happy to be honest about my age, I'm 18 and I turn 19 in August. I live in the South West of England and Yes I still wont tell random online strangers where I live. I honestly don't feel like I have anything to apologise for. I was being a sensible, safe teenager and anyone who has a problem with that can bugger off!! :)

Much Love,

Lush Review: Grease Lightning

"Brand new, super effective spot zapping face gel, aloe and witch hazel. The thyme, tea tree and rosemary antibacterial infusion dries invisibly and you can feel the witch hazel shrinking mini-volcanoes."

This gel is surprisingly effective. When applied to spots you can see a really difference over night - which I love! Like any spot treatment its not a miracle worker but it definitely makes a difference. I like the packaging and the pump is good; except sometimes you squirt out a little too much. Wastage is never good but its so cheap that it doesn't matter all that much.

One thing to remember with this product is to NOT wear it under makeup! When they describe it as an invisible gel you tend to think you can - but it does flake off leaving you skin looking icky! Personally, I just wear this at night.

Lush Review: Tee Tree Toner

"Tea tree is extremely soothing and can work wonders on troubled or oily skin. We've also added juniper berry and grapefruit waters to refresh and gently tone with natural oils. Use this throughout the day to help tackle blemishes and lift your spirits."

As you probably know I have oily skin and over the past year I've had a real battle with acne. I've tried many toners which failed to impress but I really like this one. This toner helps combat my blemishes, soothes and cools my skin and helps to close pores after cleansing - its not a miracle worker, but I does what it says on the tin. I also love the packaging. Its simple and practical, it fits in my handbag! I also use this after exercise. I don't like to over-wash my face so if I workout during the day this is a quick-fix to clean my skin without over stimulating my oil glands. They spray dispenser also makes it very refreshing on hot skin.

Overall this is a great product and a daily staple in my skincare routine. Its helped combat my blemishes and my oily skin.

Review: Revlon Colourstay Foundation

I know your probably all like?? What Revlon Colourstay? Been there- Done That!  I know I know! But I wanted to make this post just incase some of you had the same problems as I have with the product.

No point beating about the bush! I'll just get straight to the point will Pros&Cons

         Pros:
  • Great coverage - full coverage foundation
  • Gorgeous matte finish - If you like that kinda thing
  • Lasts ALL day & night without the need for reapplying
  • Contains SPF 6-15
  • Two formulas depending on skin type
  • Easily available worldwide
  • Reasonable Price - RRP: £11.99
  • DO NOT test on animals
        Cons:
  • Slightly difficult to apply & dries fast so you must work quickly on one area of the skin at a time.
  • No Pump - Product Wastage and Spills
  • Hard to Remove - Will probably take 2x as long as light-medium coverage foundation.
  • Does not photograph well.
Another con, which for me is a HUGE downside, is this really broke me out! I was on the verge of major acne. HOWEVER this was a combination of this, St Moriz and slacking on my skincare routine.
Overall I love this foundation but I only use it once in a while to prevent breakouts. If you have acne/badly blemished I wouldn't recommend this for daily use. Also if you're going to use it, make sure you are vigorous with your skincare routine and remove all traces of the foundation.

Hope this was helpful,

How High is Too High?

I recently bought a pair of ankle boot heels which are far to high for any sane woman to wear. The truth is I'm too much of a wimp to go out in them. I know my feet have gone through all sorts to look good. They have bled, blistered, ached and pained all in the name of heels.

I've been wearing heels for about three years now and they still hurt! I find If I'm at a club and my feet are killing me I just cannot have a good time! I'm miserable.

 So I pose this question:
How high is too high? How far are you willing to go to look good?

Lush: Why No Bubbles?

This is a review on the Sex Bomb Bath Bomb which a bought a few weeks ago from Lush. It retails at £2.95 which personally I think is a little expensive since I used the whole thing in one go. I tried to break it up, but it didn't work? Any Ideas? I cut up my soaps and bubble bars with a hot knife but found the bath bomb did not want to do this.

However, I do still like this product. It looks adorable with its little flower in the centre and it smells yummy [In my opinion]. It contains Yasmine, Sage and Ylang Ylang which I find very relaxing and I love the way it really 'fizzes' when under water. It makes my bath look bright pink BUT...

There were no bubbles...call me an idiot but when I put stuff in my bath I like it to make bubbles. You're all probably sat reading this thinking bath bombs aren't supposed to be bubbly!! I would then say to you...what's the point then??

My comforter bubble bar also smells yummy, looks good, makes my bath pink and bubbles!! It also breaks up into 6 uses making it much more cost effective. Also the little flower in this turns into a soggy hot mess?!?! I would personally remove that before use next time.

I would repurchase this but ONLY on a special occasion since the smell is really nice and fragrant. I really feel relaxed after using this.  Perhaps I would buy it when I want an extra indulgence, like on my birthday. On a regular basis this product is just too over priced for what you get. I would much rather buy bubble bars.

Feel free to request reviews on any of the Lush products I purchased Here

Hope this helps,
