4 Week Weight Loss Challenge!

I havent done a weight loss post in ages, its about time I did! Was going to post this in video form but I have to get up at 6am so I don't have time. Most of you know (I blab on about it enough) that I lost around 2 and a half stone last year, but my weight recently has come to a complete plateau. I'm sick of feeling chubby and feelings sorry for myself so I thought I better do something about it! The best way to break a weight loss plateau is to shake things up!

The Challenge is to lose 8lbs in 4 weeks, starting from tomorrow, monday morning.

Each week I'm going to set myself three mini goals to help towards my weight loss. This week they are:

Go running at least once
Avoid Coffee ALL week
Try one new healthy recipe and blog about it

At the end of each week I'll make a Vlog telling you how much weight I've lost and how that week has been. If you want to see these just go subscribe to my youtube channel

For anyone who wants to join me in my weight loss journey you can comment on any video or post, or just tweet me and let me know how you are doing... obviously blog posts and videos would be amazing!

I'm going to do a post tomorrow(while in college, teehee) my fitness plan for the month. I want to get as much cardio in as possible (without injuring myself) as add a lot of strength training to my routine so tone up for the bikini season.

As for my diet as always I'm going to stick to around 1200-1500 calories but I'm going to try and experiment with foods and eat more vegetables. I'm going back to drinking 3 bottles of water a day as I have been slacking recently, and I'm going to try and drink more green tea. Let me know if you want any posts about my diet!

Good Luck,

Onna

@Kim of course!! I think twitter is much easier than making a blog post! That way everyone can ask questions when ever they like! x

Good luck with your plan!

I tend to carry most my weight aroung my stomach (the most dangerous place to carry weight) and have really skinny arms/legs etc.

My mum and I lost about 8-9kg (19lbs) 18months ago by doing the South Beach Diet. I seriously swear by it. When you read the first 2 week phase you think wow I could never do that. But it's actually way easier than you think. I never thought it could happen but cravings completely disappear after 4ish days. Then after the 2 weeks you can start introducing some fruits, bread etc. You're even allowed some dark chocolate.

Even right from phase 1 you can have coffee (use whitener instead of milk).

I really recommend it. You feel much healthier, and if anything you learn how to lose weight and heaps about food. Now I eat pretty much whatever I want, but I know that if I eat something bad (takeaways, starbucks etc) for a few days, then it will only take a couple of days for me to get back on track. We didn't exercise at al

No, I'm not a spokes person, just thought I should let you know my story! :) If you have any questions about it let me know!

I have been crazy binging with my essays but I hand them in on Tuesday and I think I might join you. I think a good push start is what I need. I love your idea of 3 little goals for each week, simple yet effective :D. If it is ok I think I'll blog about this too, 4 week challenge, and keep up with your own progress, I really need to get myself out of this rut I used to be much fitter haha :) xx

I am SOOO joining you all! I really need to get serious about dropping the weight I have gained over the last year. I did Weight Watchers about 2 and a half years ago and lost 35 pounds but in the last year I have gained 15 pounds back :(
I will keep track and state my goals on my blog and link to your post. I'm not on twitter but I will subscribe to your YT channel.
Thanks for getting me motivated!!!
Good luck to you and everyone joining!

I like to join you challenge. Actually I am addicted to Netflix too. Do you know what I loose only 2lb last 15-5 weeks. but I am following some nonspecialist's website & blog. (who are true) . they often suggested me to take less oily food but rich vinegar. too much vegetable, salad, fruit and exercise . But taking "Green Tea" and some tips from http://www.10pounds10days.com I loose my 20 pounds last 5 weeks! I am little bit happy now. My target is loosing another 60lb . And I am interested to join to your challenge . 4 weeks is nice time.
Thanks

Losing weight is simple -- just cut your daily intake of calories and exercise more. When your organism finds it cannot extract the necessary energy from the food you consume, it will start burning the fat deposits in waist and other parts of your body. So, the most natural way to lose weight is to keep to a diet, which reduces the energy your consume and do regular exercises to burn energy. Herbalife Products

I usually run at least 4 times a week. I'm fortunate to have this huge empty space to sweat. I'm trying to get rid the belly fat for months now. Turns out dieting is easy to say than done. But even so, it's nice to read posts such as yours. An inspiration to anyone who is in dieting.

When it comes to losing weight, don't believe everything you hear. There are many myths out there that sabotage all your efforts. Just take a look at the Biggest Diet Myths:

* There are some diets that can help you lose fat from specific parts of the body: No diet or dietary supplement can cause local fat reduction. Look at it this way: When you put on the weight, do have any choice about where it will be stored? No!
