What's on your mind?

  • Sorry about the photobooth picture. I'm at home, in bed after coming down with something. Wash you hands and take your vitamins people, somethings going around!
  • I want caramel blonde hair but I just don't think going lighter actually suites me anymore! #seriousproblemobviously
  • I feel like I need a change, I want a proper career but I'm turning 20 soon and I work at New Look *face palm*
  • I've officially signed up to Open University and will start my degree in English Literature and Language in October. So excited as I miss writing essays (Sad but true)
  • Also wanted to thank everyone who suggested the OU after my college catastrophe, I'm seriously grateful as I would have never thought of it.
Have a good everyone :)

I graduated last year from university in English Language and Literature. I absolutely loved it. A million essays but totally rewarding. I hope you love it!

Why not have some caramel blonde high/lowlights rather than doing a full head tint? More subtle and easier to colour over if you hate it? I truly loved my OU experience I've done 2 courses with them and thoroughly enjoyed both. I hope you have a good experience with them too!! Mel xx

So pleased you have found something to do after what happened at college and don't worry that you work at newlook because you need to finish your degree before proper work starts x

Cute post, your hair's a lovely colour here. I've only just left my full time job at Office for a 'career', I never felt old enough before!

Really glad you decided to go with the OU, I loved doing my course, signing up for another soon. I love your hair, mine is very dark and as I am a natural blonde I always want to lighten it, but it takes so much effort and time that I always go back to brown. Hmpf!! xxxx

hair colour decisions are definitely serious problems!
ha I think to myself that I miss writing essays every summer... then when uni rolls around I really regret that thought..... good luck with starting though! hopefully that'll leave you with something you'd like to do more - but for now make sure you take advantage of the NL discount! (i'm sure you are ;)) xxxx

It sounds like I wrote this post! I just dyed my hair blonde from very dark and I'm not sure it suits me yet. I turn 20 next week and I'm worrying about a 'career' and I've just started with the open university!
All I can say is go for the hair, you can always change it back! And the OU is the best decision I've ever made, you won't regret it!

Good luck with your uni course love! You've got so much time to concentrate on getting a career. I know what you mean though. Sometimes I almost feel like I'm running out of time to do the stuff I want before settling down etc. But you're young and you shouldn't worry yourself. I remember at 19 I was running an estate agency branch as my manager had walked out. great money and looks great on my CV but I missed out on alot. I wish I went travelling and had a bit more fun being young! xx
